Christmas is great and all but the dinner can drag on a bit. This three-course sandwich means you can get it over with in 10 minutes.
If I said to you Christmas and sandwiches then you will surely think of very dry turkey and a bit of brown sauce. But the sandwich boffins (yes, that?s what we?re calling them) at Marks and Spencer have come up with the Christmas dinner sandwich.
But this isn?t just a bit of turkey and stuffing between some bread. Oh no. This is a three course, three sandwich meal all in one handy convenient package.
According to the report in the Daily Mail the sandwich includes a starter sandwich, a main course sandwich and an ?afters? sandwich.
To quote the paper: ?The first 'course' is smoked salmon with cucumber and dill; the second is turkey with pork and chestnut stuffing and smoked bacon; and to finish there is a sandwich filled with brie, grapes and chutney.?
M&S are calling it the ?Three Course Christmas Feast? and they claim it is meant for three people to share but we know that many will gobble the entire thing, which adds up to nearly 1,500 calories or the majority of any man?s recommended daily intake of 2,500.
That said, we?d give it a lash, purely in the interests of research of course.
